    Israeli forces have shot dead a Palestinian teenage boy near the occupied West Bank city of Ramallah in yet another act of violence against Palestinians.
    The victim was shot in the heart during clashes between the regime forces and Palestinian youths in the village of Beit Rima in northern Ramallah early on Sunday.
    He was identified as 19-year-old Ahmed Hazem Rimawi.
    Beit Rima residents said the occupation forces have raided the village and inspected locals’ houses every night since Thursday, prompting scuffles with Palestinian citizens.

    Saudi Arabia’s security forces have arrested a Syrian resident in the capital, Riyadh, for posting a picture on his Facebook page, hailing the liberation of the city of Aleppo from the grips of foreign-backed militants by forces loyal to President Bashar al Assad.
    According to a report published in al-Riyadh newspaper on Friday, Samer Lababidi was taken into custody the previous day after he flashed the victory sign in his Facebook picture following the recapture of Aleppo by the Syrian army soldiers and their allies.

    Three people have been killed in a bomb attack at a police station in the Syrian capital, Damascus, a report says.
    Sky News reported that four people were also injured in the blast on Friday.
    Meanwhile, the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) quoted a police source as saying that the assault was carried out at the police station in Midan neighborhood.
    Preliminary reports say there has been a "terrorist explosion" in Midan, SANA added.
    On Thursday, a bomb explosion in the western city of Homs killed four people.

    Syrian President Bashar al-Assad has offered felicitations to the Arab nation on the liberation of Aleppo city from foreign-backed militants amid an ongoing mission to take out the remaining armed men and civilians from the embattled northwestern city.
    In a video posted on the Syrian presidency’s official social media accounts, Assad said the “liberation” was “history in the making and worthy of more than the word ‘congratulations’.”

    Qadura Fares, the head of the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society, said on Monday that the court is going to hand down a ruling on 20-year-old Anas Ibrahim Shadid and Ahmad Abu Farah, 29, both residents of the southern occupied West Bank city of Surif, later in the day.The remarks came a few days after Issa Qaraqe, the head of the Palestinian Committee of Prisoners’ Affairs, said the Tel Aviv regime purposefully seeks to kill the pair, who have been refusing to take their food portions for 76 and 77 days respectively.

    The residents of Aleppo have taken to the Syrian city’s streets to celebrate the imminent official announcement of the city’s full liberation from militants.   
    According to Syrian army officials on Monday, 99 percent of the formerly occupied regions of the city have been recovered by government forces, adding that the army is in the "last moments before declaring victory."

    The United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) has warned that kids in Yemen are suffering from highest ever recorded rates of malnutrition amid scarcity of food supplies due to Saudi Arabia’s devastating military campaign against its southern neighbor.
    UNICEF said in a report published on its website on Monday that nearly 2.2 million children in Yemen were acutely malnourished and needed urgent care, adding that most of them, around 1.7 million, were suffering from moderate acute malnutrition.

    Human rights groups have strongly condemned Bahrain’s ruling Al Khalifah regime for upholding a nine-year prison sentence against distinguished Shia cleric and opposition leader Sheikh Ali Salman.
    “Today’s shocking verdict is another example of Bahrain’s flagrant disregard for the right to freedom of expression. Sheikh Ali Salman is a prisoner of conscience,” Deputy Director of Campaigns at Amnesty International's Beirut regional office Samah Hadid said on Monday.

    The leader of Yemen's Houthi Ansarullah movement says Saudi Arabia's "heinous aggression" against Yemen will only bring "misery and loss" to the regime in Riyadh.In a televised speech on Sunday, Abdul Malik Badreddin al-Houthi said the people of Yemen would stand firm despite Riyadh's "threats and sanctions."Houthi made the remarks in an address to Yemenis on the commemoration of the birth anniversary of the Prophet Mohammad.He described Saudi Arabia as a "bad neighbor" to Yemen. Houthi said the regime was a "hypocritical system."

    Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, in a meeting with visiting head of the National Iraqi Alliance, Ammar Hakim, and the key members of the alliance in Tehran on Sunday, expressed satisfaction over the formation of the alliance among Iraq’s Shia groups. Describing the [formation of the] alliance as a major development, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei stressed the need to maintain and bolster the pillars of this unity and a paternal approach in addition to offering open arms to all political currents, ethnic groups and denominations in Iraq.

    At least eight people have been killed and several others injured in two car bomb attacks at security checkpoints in Iraq’s western city of Fallujah in western Anbar province.
    Iraq's Arabic-language al-Sumaria television network reported that the first attack was carried out by an assailant, who detonated his explosives-laden car at a security checkpoint in western Fallujah on Sunday evening.

    Russia has denied claims made by militants that it has reached an agreement with the US over giving the terrorists safe passage out of Syria’s Aleppo.
    On Sunday, Aleppo militants told Reuters that Moscow and Washington had tabled a proposal aimed at granting the remaining militants in Aleppo and their families passage out of the city.

    “Intense Russian raids since last night forced IS (Daesh) out of Palmyra” hours after the terrorists briefly re-entered the city, said the so-called Syrian Observatory for Human Rights on Sunday
    The Observatory head, Rami Abdel Rahman, said a large number of Daesh militants were killed in the Russian airstrikes, without providing a precise figure.
    On Thursday, Daesh began an offensive to regain a foothold in Palymra in the west-central Homs Province months after the Syrian army liberated the city from the terror group.

    Twin bomb attacks have rocked Istanbul, killing 29 people and wounding 166 more, says Turkey’s Interior Minister.
    The first explosion was the result of a car bomb going off outside the Besiktas stadium on Saturday, while the second blast happened as an attacker blew himself up in a nearby park, said Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu, while adding that 27 of those killed were police officers.

    A bomb blast has killed at least 45 soldiers loyal to former President Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi in Yemen’s southern city of Aden.
    According to local security officials, 50 soldiers were also injured during the Saturday blast which occurred as a bomber detonated his explosive belt among a large group of soldiers who were waiting for their paychecks in an army base.

    The secretary general of the Lebanese resistance movement made the remarks during an address to the nation on regional developments on Friday.
    Earlier in the day, Russia said Syrian army ground forces and allies had liberated 52 blocks in the eastern parts of the northwestern city from the grip of foreign-backed militants and were in control of 93 percent of the whole city.

    Local media reported that Israeli forces demolished the buildings in the neighborhoods of Beit Hanina and Silwan on Wednesday without prior notice, displacing at least 44 Palestinians including children.
    The United Nations has documented a dramatic rise in demolitions, saying 124 Palestinians, including 60 children, were left homeless in the occupied West Bank in a single day in April.

    Commander of Federal Police Forces Lieutenant General Raed Shaker Jawdat told Arabic-language All Iraq News news agency on Sunday that Iraqi forces made the discovery in the town of Hammam al-Alil, situated about 30 kilometers south of Mosul, on Sunday.
    Jawdat added that Iraqi security forces recovered a number of state-of-the-art cameras, dozens of video files, a considerable amount of money and numerous confidential documents from the site.

    On Sunday, two bombers detonated their explosive belts near residential areas at a village close to the town of Darbandikhan, Shafaaq News website quoted a Kurdish military source as saying.
    A third bomber also failed to set off his explosives and was killed by security forces.
    The exact number of casualties is still unknown.
    Following the blasts, clashes broke out between a group of armed men and Kurdish security guards in the area.
    No group has so far claimed responsibility for the attacks, which bear the hallmarks of Daesh terrorists.
